Welcome to Two Guys With Wood YEG!
In 2018, Colin Bennion knew he wanted to do something with his hands. Armed with little more than a few tools and Youtube, he started to make custom furniture out of reclaimed wood for a few friends and family in Edmonton during his off times as a teacher. However, he quickly found that although furniture building was satisfying, it needed a lot more room than he had in our home.
In 2019, he started branching out into smaller household items, charceuterie boards and cutting boards and coasters. His husband, Kris, came on board with his woodburning and painting skills to customize and expand the product options to include custom artwork, and signs, as well as to customize the existing products.
Thus, Two Guys With Wood YEG was born.
All of our products are unstained, utilizing the natural beauty of the hardwoods that we select.
We take pride in providing high quality, long lasting, locally made items to our customers. Our Epoxy and Beeswax sealer are both made by Alberta small businesses to keep our sources as local as possible.
